Haleon’s procurement function is being recognised for its success in navigating one of the largest and most complex corporate demergers in recent times following its split from GSK. The team successfully untangled £1bn of spend across more than 750 suppliers, while ensuring compliance, mitigating dis-synergies, completing a complex cloud migration and delivering £25m of savings – all in just 18 months. Judges were impressed by the scale of the project and Haleon’s success in engaging the c-suite.
