Judges were impressed by Save the Children’s success in overcoming huge hurdles operating in challenging regions including Ukraine, Afghanistan and Yemen to implement an ambitious digital transformation. Over the course of just a year, the non-profit deployed the full suite of SAP Ariba across 52 countries, reducing lead times from 17 to 12 days, substantially improving supplier visibility and saving 263 tonnes of CO2 through reduced use of paper – ultimately enhancing its ability to reach more children and save more lives.
