Schneider Electric’s Scope 3 decarbonisation initiative has successfully engaged over 1,000 global suppliers, including 462 across Asia-Pacific, providing support and guidance to vendors in reducing their carbon footprint.
Having set a target to reduce these suppliers’ Scope 1 and 2 operational emissions by 50% between 2021 and 2025, Schneider has made incredible progress. By July 2024, global suppliers achieved a 34% reduction, while those in APAC delivered a 38% emissions reduction, on average.
