Suzano’s inclusive sourcing programme expands the company’s social impact in Brazil by training impoverished women to work in its business units and creating business opportunities for women-owned companies. Suzano increased its spending with women-owned companies from 300 million reais (R$) in 2022 to around R$700m in 2023 and 2024. Judges praised this as a “strong entry” with “major impact”.
